Edwin Donald Duke Snider, a baseball player who was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980, was a graceful Major League Baseball center fielder and left handed batter whose prolific home runs and center filled prowess earned him quite a reputation and fame in the history of baseball. He played for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers from 1947 to 1962, New York Mets in 1963, and San Francisco Giants in 1964.
